Sauvignon Blanc & Sancerre + light reds
When you're talking light, crisp, refreshing and delicious white wine, you've got to talking about SAUVIGNON BLANC, and have I got an amazing representation of this grape tonight. The 2016 Vintage is fantastic and tonight, you get an opportunity to taste SIX of them, styles drastically changing in style as you taste three domestic SB's then to Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé.
Who doesn’t like a lighter styled red from time to time, like on Tuesday Night at the Vendome Wine Bar? Can you say Pinot Noir? I knew you could. Fort Ross AVA on the Sonoma Coast, New Zealand and Burgundy - YUMMY! Then, all of a sudden, we're in ITALY, as if you had a magic Jeanie lamp and wished you were there - PUFF, you're in Italy tasting amazing wine.
I think you get the point, right? Only 10 of you are reading this right now BUT, I appreciate you doing so. Please let me know that you did and I've got an extra pour for you!
CHEERS, and I'll see you on Tuesday, 6-9PM. ~David Milligan~
