GSM's as Blends and Individual Grapes

IS THE WHOLE GREATER THAN THE SUM OF ITS PARTS?  Well, that's exactly what we're going to find out tonight. GSM is a short-hand reference or acronym for a red wine blended from the Grenache, Syrah & Mourvedre Grapes. The Rhône Valley in the South of France is well known for such GSM's, but there are other regions as well that blend these grapes together to make this magnificent blend. BUT WAIT, what about the individual grape varietals, don't they hold merit too?  Come see for yourself and draw your own conclusions. I'll be pouring GSM'S from the Rhone and other regions as well as the individual grape varietals. This will be a fun night and by the end, you'll know if the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. ~David~
